You people are sad! - The Passion of the Christ Reviews

Those of you who think that there is too much violence in this movie evidently do not understand the barbarian behavior that took place in those days. This movie isn't about religious conviction, it's about an interpretation. This movie is one person's interpretation of how Christ suffered. You cannot deny the fact that Christianity is one of the predominate religions of today. It doesn't matter if you a Muslim, Buddist, Catholic, or Christian. It's a portrayal of Christs last 12 hours. A movie. I don't think they will be adding the movie script to the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Gibson) so quit acting like he has re-written the Bible. If you have any problems with the way this movie portrays Christ and his last 12 hours, put 25 million of your own money on the table and tell it the way you think it should be told. If you think this movie will offend you, don't go see it. Look deeper than your own emtion and views, and see the movie as a movie; the telling of a story. We seem to be able to fathom the fact that superheroes can fly, fairies exist, and battles to determine intergalactic peace reign, but we have a hard time believing the possibility that a man suffered, and suffered quite brutally, for what he believed, and died as a result of that.
