The story of all time - The Passion of the Christ Reviews

This film was so well done. Mel Gibson took a great risk to make a film version of a historical event that is so well known and cherished. There were times that I could not restrain myself from weeping. Aside from the obvious Biblical side of it, I want to comment on the filming. The directing was honest and true...the violence was accurate and necessary in a true telling. The acting was absolutely phenominal and believable. James Caviezel was honest in his performance of Jesus and so much was conveyed in a simple look in his eyes. The cinematography was breathtaking and yet not distracting. The film score was beautiful, painful, and triumphant. I know this story because I have heard it all my life. It was true and there was so much detail that even multiple viewings could not reveal all that there is to see. This film will change lives. It is by far the most accurate and honest representation of the Biblical passion of Christ. A true cinematic marvel.
